Russell comes to Nutanix after roles at SHI, EMC, SAP and Microsoft in Sacramento for more than 18 years, all of which has been focused on providing technology solutions to state government departments and agencies.
“It is a very exciting time to be at Nutanix, as the state and our other SLED (state, local and education) customers look to maximize the power of their Public Cloud and On-Premises IT resources,” Russell told Techwire.
Russell, a resident of El Dorado Hills, is a California native, attended University of California, Irvine and has lived in Northern and Southern California.
Nutanix enables IT teams to build and operate multicloud architectures. Its Enterprise Cloud OS software melds private, public and distributed cloud operating environments and provides a single point of control to manage IT infrastructure and applications at any scale.
