Red Hat Names New Account Executive for State Government

Michael Jaeger joins the open-source provider after having been with Oracle and, before that, Accenture, where he worked on several large state programs, including CalACES, FI$Cal and CalHEERS.

Open-source solution provider Red Hat has named Michael “Mike" Jaeger the new account executive for the state of California.

Jaeger joins the firm after three years as infrastructure account manager Oracle, where he helped state and local government customers design and implement cloud solutions, according to Paul Maunder, Red Hat's area sales director for Public Sector in the West Region. Before that, Jaeger was Accenture's sales director for the State of California Alliance. Among the programs he supported were CalACES, FI$Cal and CalHEERS.

Red Hat is a multinational company with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sunnyvale.
