The top two executives in the California Department of Technology will address technology vendors Thursday when the department hosts its CDT Vendor Forum.

CDT Director and state Chief Information Officer Amy Tong will deliver opening remarks, as will Richard Rogers, the deputy state CIO and CDT’s chief deputy director.

“The California Department of Technology will provide the vendor community with valuable information on how their companies can partner with the State of California,” the department says in its announcement of the virtual event. “Vendors will also be given an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.”

CDT’s previous vendor forums have attracted large audiences and offered opportunities to have department leaders answer vendors’ questions.

Thursday's two-hour online event begins at 10 a.m. After opening remarks from Tong and Rogers, CDT representatives will provide updates on various projects and initiatives. After that, Tong and her team will field vendors’ questions. There will be time afterward for online networking.

Registration for the Zoom event is available online.
