The Franchise Tax Board (FTB) on Thursday announced it is searching for potential vendors to provide a "data archive solution for structured data relating to the Personal Income Tax program."

The Franchise Tax Board (FTB) on Thursday announced it is searching for potential vendors to provide a "data archive solution for structured data relating to the Personal Income Tax program."

"FTB intends to implement an enterprise-wide secure data archive solution for personal income tax data that will be scalable to other types of data in the future," said the announcement. "The proposed data archive solution must be able to directly interface with FTB's existing infrastructure, must be able to purge the archived data from the archive solution based on predefined rules and predefined schedules, and must have the ability to allow users to search for specific taxpayers, within the taxpayers' folder, in specific tax years."

The announcement requests that all those planning to respond to the RFI to email your contact information to John.Marengo@ftb.ca.gov by 2:00 PM PT on February 16, 2016.
