Rosburg, based in the greater Sacramento area, has a deep background in technology in both the public and private sectors. He’s worked in a variety of sales, management and business development roles, most recently with Illumio. His previous affiliations have included Centrify, Enterprise Networking Solutions (now Optm), DynTek, NWN Corp. and Advanced Telecom Group.
In the public sector, Rosburg served as IT director in public education, including the Napa County Office of Education, the Washington Unified School District and the Benecia Unified School District.
Rosburg said he joined Alation, which specializes in data intelligence, because he likes the company’s commitment.
“I chose to move over to Alation because I recognized the importance of breaking down data silos and allowing the folks to start to build a data culture that’s going beyond a mission statement but truly adopted by the end users, allowing for data-driven decisions and policy creation.”
Alation, whose clientele includes government, aims to “help enterprises create thriving data cultures where anyone can find, understand, and trust data.”
Rosburg, who has multiple credentials in IT sales, says his specialties are data center, networking and cloud computing. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
