The city of Roseville’s newly published Strategic Plan 2021-2024 looks to technology in a host of areas, some of which may present opportunities to technology companies.

Under the heading “Deliver exceptional city services,” the document outlines four key strategies that the Roseville City Council has set to achieve that goal — two of which have technology components:

  • Implement customer relationship management (CRM) software to improve customer experience.
  • Optimize the use of technology and data to improve operations.
The city’s detailed website offers other resources for those seeking to learn more about the city’s “smart city” initiatives as well as its portals for open data, procurement, geographic information services and other topics of potential interest to the vendor community. It also includes details on how vendors may set up an online portal account that “provides visibility to purchase orders and contract purchase agreements as well as payment and invoicing history.”

More information about the city’s Information Technology Department, led by Chief Information Officer Hong Sae, is available on the city’s website.
