Russell joined Oracle just more than a year ago, coming from Lenovo, where he was an account executive for state and local government in Northern California. Russell provides the state with Oracle’s Cloud Platform infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS).
“I am excited to be representing Oracle Cloud Platform IaaS and PaaS solutions as a new and powerful platform for state of California departments and agencies,” Russell told Techwire.
Russell, an El Dorado Hills resident, has held sales positions with Microsoft, Dell EMC, SHI International and Nutanix. The technologist’s primary focus has been California state and local governments.
Russell is an alumnus of the University of California at Irvine, with a bachelor of arts in psychology and a bachelor of science in information and computer science.
