San Jose Grows IT Team; Enterprise Tech Manager Sought

The nation’s 10th-largest city, which aspires "to be as innovative as the community we serve," is beefing up its IT management team under the leadership of CIO Rob Lloyd.

The city of San Jose is continuing the buildout of its IT leadership, with a new recruitment for an enterprise technology manager. Within the past year, the city has added a chief information security officer and an assistant chief information officer. Rob Lloyd is the CIO. 

The announcement of the new position notes that San Jose is the nation’s 10th-largest city and says, “We aspire to be as innovative as the community we serve.”

The city’s IT Department is seeking “an enterprise collaboration and productivity technologies manager” who’ll be “responsible for understanding citywide customer needs to lead an essential program defined by strong architecture, user adoption, enterprise content management, business process automation and incremental effect through product software.”

Desirable traits, experience and skills include job expertise, project management experience, leadership, analytical thinking, change management, problem solving, vision/strategic thinking, and communication.

The position has an annual salary range of $123,219 to $150,800. More information and a link to apply are available online.
