SAS Promotes Inside Sales Rep to Account Executive

Areas of expertise for government customers include data and text mining; data visualization and big data; forecasting and optimization; and reporting and data quality.

SAS Institute has named a sales professional to a new role in the company, which does business with the state of California and which focuses on such areas as machine learning; deep learning; computer vision and natural language processing; and forecasting and optimization.

Jessica Marchiori has been promoted from senior associate inside sales rep to account executive. She has been with SAS since May 2017. Before that, Marchiori held a variety of positions with Global Knowledge Inc.; Southside Consulting Group; e.Republic (parent company of Techwire); and Collins and Associates.

She lists her areas of expertise for government customers as data and text mining; data visualization and big data; forecasting and optimization; and reporting and data quality. She may be reached at Jessica.Marchiori@sas.com.

In her new role, Marchiori will continue working with Elizabeth Lush, a senior associate inside sales rep for SAS. For state clients who work with SAS, Lush is a familiar name and has worked with California state and local clients for several years. She's based in Cary, N.C.
