The San Francisco County Board of Supervisors authorized and approved an amendment to an agreement for shared emergency radio telecommunications and associated equipment with the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the county's Department of Emergency Management and Department of Technology. It was approved at an annual base rent of $54,856.26 for the first year, with 3 percent increases every year.

San Francisco County also authorized a communications site license between the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and American Towers LLC as the landlord. This authorizes the installation and maintenance of new microwave antennas, radio communications and other general telecommunications facilities. The initial term of this license is seven years, with three five-year optional extensions. The starting rent will be approximately $22,800, with 4 percent increases each year.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors authorized the director of Public Social Services to amend an agreement with Good People Inc. to continue providing Statewide Fingerprint Imaging System Terminal Operation services to General Relief and CalWORKs participants. The agreement will be for up to 12 months at an estimated expenditure of $1,834,129, starting Aug. 31, 2017, and ending on Aug. 30, 2018.

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved the allocation of $14,550 from the Neighborhood Reinvestment Program budget to San Diego Black Nurses Association Inc. This money will help purchase a new phone system, computers, auxiliary computer equipment, computer hardware and software, and a new website, along with first-aid tools and supplies.
