The state Department of Developmental Services awarded five contracts worth more than $250,000 each for IT goods during the first six months of this year.

The state Department of Developmental Services (DDS) awarded five contracts worth more than $250,000 each for IT goods during the first six months of this year.

  • The largest, for $581,670, was with Secure Smart Solutions of Roseville for software maintenance and support.
  • The next-largest contract for IT goods was with BM Associates of Granite Bay, in the amount of $394,740 for project management between May 4 and June 30.
  • The third-largest purchase during the period was for “ServiceNow IT Svc Mgmt Prof-Fulfiller User v2,” referring to licenses for ServiceNow Facility Fulfillers. The contract was awarded to Enterprise Networking Solutions Inc. (ENS-Inc) of Rancho Cordova and was for $295,880.
  • ENS-Inc was also the contract awardee for DDS’ $270,343 purchase of Palo Alto Networks PA-5220 firewall technology.
  • The fifth-largest contract for IT goods in the first half of 2020 was for a one-year renewal of Kronos software, for $263,750, awarded to Cornerstone Concilium of San Francisco.
