Spectrum Enterprise Names 2 to Key Account Roles for State/Local

Michael Hogan joins the company with more than 25 years’ experience in telecom and technology sales management, and Tina Park has a new role within the company after advising Spectrum Enterprise clients for more than 17 years.

Spectrum Enterprise, a part of Charter Communications Inc., has expanded its government sales team in California with the appointments of two sales management professionals to the CALNET key account team.

Michael Hogan, a veteran of the telecommunications/technology sector, has been named the company’s CALNET key account lead. Hogan, who lives in the Sacramento area, has more than 25 years of sales and account management experience, with over 15 years spent working with the state and local government organizations on their telecommunications needs. His previous affiliations include Comcast, Frontier Communications, T-Mobile, Integra Telecom and Lucent Technologies. Hogan is a graduate of San Diego State University, with a Master of Science degree in business/marketing.

Hogan’s responsibilities as CALNET key account lead include promoting and selling Spectrum Enterprise Ethernet Services to the state of California and other government agencies via the CALNET NextGen contract.

Tina Park, based in Cerritos, has been named the CALNET key account manager for Spectrum Enterprise, after having advised the company’s clients and partners for over 17 years. She brings her deep knowledge of the California marketplace and the company’s broad portfolio of solutions to her new role servicing the CALNET program.

Before being named to her current role, Park had been a Spectrum Enterprise account executive in the Western U.S., focusing on enterprise-level B2B telecommunication solutions. In her LinkedIn profile, Park describes herself as an “expert consultant in complex Ethernet solutions, hospitality solutions, PRI/SIP, FIA, EPL, EVPL, ELAN, Unified Communication and managed security.”

Richard Twilley, Spectrum Enterprise’s group vice president for Vertical Markets Sales, told Techwire through a spokesperson that Hogan and Park are “a key addition” to the company’s plans to expand its work with key CALNET accounts.

“Michael and Tina bring decades of telecommunications and account management experience to their new roles and are a key addition to our efforts to help government organizations modernize their network infrastructure,” Twilley said. “At Spectrum Enterprise, we not only want to be a connectivity and technology solutions provider of choice, but also a partner of choice. The closer we can get to standing in our clients’ shoes, the more effective we can be in helping them implement solutions that have the reliability and scalability necessary to advance digital government services and enhance citizen experiences.”

Both Hogan and Park are certified by the Center for Digital Government* as State and Local Government Market Professionals. Spectrum Enterprise, the first in the industry to receive this credentialing, requires all sales team members who service the public sector to master this training program, as it helps create a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities that state and local governments are facing.

Charter Communications is continually investing in building out its infrastructure and technology throughout the country, the company noted, adding: “In 2020 alone, Charter made a $1.3 billion capital investment in the state of California.”
