— The California Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a chief information officer, a C.E.A.-class position reporting to the deputy director of the Administrative Services Division. This position has a salary range of $83,000-$190,600, and the filing deadline is May 8. The posting can be found here.

— The California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) is advertising for a director of its Project Management Program, a position that carries an IT Manager I classification and has a salary range of $85,100-$114,000. The filing deadline is Wednesday, and the job posting can be found here.

— The California Department of Health Care Services is seeking a deputy director and chief information officer for its Enterprise Innovation and Technology Services. “The Deputy Director acts as the Department’s Chief Information Officer, and as such it is the principal advisor to the Director and Executive Staff regarding IT,” the listing says. — The Office of Systems Integration is seeking a deputy director of administration, which carries a Career Executive Assignment (C.E.A.) designation. — The California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking an assistant division chief in its Technology, Information and Business Advancement division. — The Board of Governors for California Community Colleges is seeking a vice chancellor for digital innovation and infrastructure, a C.E.A.-class position. “As Chief Information Officer for the agency and system, the VC has responsibility for efficiently delivering high-quality Information Technology services to agency staff, local colleges and students, state agencies and system partners,” says the job listing.
