Taborda Solutions has announced that Manuel Luna has joined the company as an owner and executive vice president.

Luna has spent the last 12 years as an owner and executive vice president at Performance Technology Partners (PTP), where he was instrumental in launching the firm, establishing practice areas and delivering award-winning innovative solutions to clients. Luna managed overall strategy and day-to-day operations for PTP across all business areas — business development, delivery, staffing, financial and contract management.

Before joining PTP, Luna had been a director at CGI-AMS and an account executive for SHL Systemhouse, where he performed project delivery, account management and business development.

With Taborda, Luna’s primary focus will be to help the firm continue its growth in all four practice areas — IT Solutions, Services, Staffing and Product Resale.

“I’m excited to start a new challenge within Taborda," Luna said. "I look forward to working with the Taborda team and partners as we continue the successful delivery of innovative solutions and services to the marketplace, exceeding our clients’ expectations and providing them the tools necessary to allow them to better serve their own customers.”

Jeff Smith, the president of Taborda, stated: “Manuel’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Taborda family. Our new product development and increasing demands from our customers has led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit in with our ethos of innovation and exceptional service. It is very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Manuel’s caliber.”

Taborda's mission is to aid government leaders in improving citizen engagement, empowering employees, optimizing operations and transforming their organizations by harnessing the cloud, mobility and new digital services. Taborda's offerings provide government organizations with digital transformation, with the intent of "empowering citizens and employees through increased productivity and efficiency while also reducing costs."

Taborda, founded in 2006, is headquartered in Folsom, just outside Sacramento. It has grown into a $55 million-a-year company, providing a full range of IT services.
