Taborda has named IT veteran Mark Collins as a senior development manager to help the company with its growth strategy. He’ll be working on Taborda’s Microsoft Practice, its Workflow Technology Solutions and other service offerings.

Collins has more than 23 years of experience in IT, in both the private and public sectors. He was most recently with Kiefer Consulting, where he was first a training and development manager and then a senior SharePoint consultant. He has also worked for Hewlett-Packard and CSU, Chico.

Collins has experience in development across multiple platforms and technologies including .net, SQL, SharePoint and Java.

“Mark’s strength is two-fold,” said Michael Ruelas, Taborda’s vice president of operations, in a news release from the company. “Not only does he have incredible expertise in a variety of skills, but he also has the capability and desire to teach these skills to others. This is a strongly valued leadership quality that Taborda is seeking out, to foster and sustain continued growth of both our company and our employees.”

Collins has master’s degrees in business administration and engineering from San Jose State University. He is a Microsoft (MS) Certified Professional, MS Certified Technology Specialist, and an MS Certified Professional Developer in ASP.Net.
