When Michael Ruelas joined Taborda last year, he helped develop a Project Management Office (PMO). He soon was named director of operations, "where he expanded his understanding of Taborda's wide array of offerings and solutions and knowledge of product development teams," says a company news release. In his new role as VP of operations, Ruelas will oversee Taborda's PMO, product development and solutions delivery teams.
During Ruelas' tenure with the state, he worked in various IT management capacities with the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Mental Hospitals and the Department of Finance, among other assignments. He is a Certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional.
