Techwire Briefing: LA County IT Leaders to Speak on Priorities, Procurement

Los Angeles County IT executives will discuss strategies, opportunities and the procurement process at the next Techwire Member Briefing, scheduled for Nov. 8. In addition to learning about departments' priorities, attendees will learn how to register for the county’s Enterprise Services Master Agreement (ESMA) and will have an opportunity to ask questions of the presenters.

Los Angeles County IT executives will discuss strategies, opportunities and the procurement process at the next Techwire Member Briefing, scheduled for Nov. 8 in Manhattan Beach.

In addition to learning about each department's priorities, attendees will learn how to register for the county’s Enterprise Services Master Agreement (ESMA) and will have an opportunity to ask questions of the presenters.

Speakers will include:

-- Los Angeles County CIO Bill Kehoe, who oversees enterprise technology strategy, governance and policy, enterprise information management, security and department consulting programs.

-- Jeramy Gray, assistant executive officer of technology and planning for the Executive Office of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Gray's responsibilities include advising the board on departmental and countywide information technology standards, policy and processes.

-- Dave Wesolik, general manager of the county Internal Services Department. 

-- Murtaza Masood, assistant director of the county Department of Human Resources.

-- Roozan Zarifian, CIO of the county Department of Human Resources.

-- Binh Le, CIO of the Los Angeles County Library.

The briefing runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Manhattan Beach Library, 1320 Highland Ave., Manhattan Beach. It's open to Techwire members and non-members.
