Top 5 IT Goods Contracts for OSI

The Office of Systems Integration (OSI), part of the California Health and Human Services Agency, is among the large spenders in state government when it comes to IT goods and services. Its mission statement says: “OSI will be the trusted leader in the management and delivery of large, complex technology projects, enabling improved service delivery to the people of California.”

The Office of Systems Integration (OSI), part of the California Health and Human Services Agency, is among the large spenders in state government when it comes to IT goods and services. Its mission statement says: “OSI will be the trusted leader in the management and delivery of large, complex technology projects, enabling improved service delivery to the people of California.”

OSI’s projects touch numerous county governments as well as state and federal agencies, so its budget is large. Here are the five largest contracts it has awarded for IT goods from Jan. 1 to June 30, ranked by amount, according to the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal).

$70,162,684 – This contract, awarded June 9, was with CGI Technologies & Solutions for computer hardware maintenance and support. The contract end date was not available.

$1,962,048 – This contract, awarded March 30 to Oak Technical Services, was for  “live production support services agreement” for the Child Welfare Services – California Automated Response and Engagement System (CWS-CARES) initiative. The contract end date is March 29, 2021.

$648,283 – Awarded to Gartner Inc. on Feb. 27, this contract is for “Executive Programs Leadership Team Plus Delegate Leader.” The end date for the contract was not available.

$600,000 – Awarded June 22 to Ernst & Young, this contract is for “OAIO Information Security, Privacy, and Organizational Structure Evaluation Agreement.” The contract end date is June 21, 2022.

$569,400 – This contract, awarded March 16 to Allied Network Solutions, is for “IBM Cloud Native Development Subscription for IBM Cloud.” The end date for the contract is not available.
