State departments in California have spent up to $7.6 billion annually on purchases of IT goods, services and telecom. Here are the numbers of those purchases per month over the last two fiscal years. 2016-17 saw a spend of $2.65 billion, while $7.6 billion was spent in 2017-18.
The most purchases of 2016-17 were made in June 2017, at 3,670. In June 2018, only 780 orders were purchased. September 2016 had the year's fewest purchase orders, at 1,582. September 2017 had 1,613.
