UiPath Names McDonald VP for 4 Western Sales Regions

“Being a leader at UiPath is an awesome responsibility that I do not take lightly,” Jennifer McDonald says. “I am focused on helping pave the path female leaders prior to me have and create a diverse world in the Fortune 500 and in tech organizations for future generations.”

Jennifer McDonald, a veteran sales professional with a deep background in software automation, has been promoted to area vice president with UiPath.

The San Diego-based McDonald, who served as regional VP until her promotion in November, now oversees four regions in the Western U.S. for UiPath, which specializes in enterprise robotic process automation (RPA).

“We believe that in the future, people will work in tandem with robots, focusing on impactful initiatives rather than administrative tasks,” McDonald says in her LinkedIn profile. “UiPath is paving the way there with RPA.”

McDonald joined UiPath in January 2021, coming from SAP, where she had served in a series of increasingly responsible executive sales roles, most recently as vice president for sales in the West. Before her affiliation with SAP, she was with ADP, where she served successively as sales director, major account district manager, major account sales executive and corporate sales manager for enterprise accounts.

“Personally, I am a mother of three children ages 15, 10 and 5,” she says in her profile. “We reside in San Diego and love our beach lifestyle. … Being a leader at UiPath is an awesome responsibility that I do not take lightly. I am focused on helping pave the path female leaders prior to me have and create a diverse world in the Fortune 500 and in tech organizations for future generations.

“If I can be of any help please don’t hesitate to reach out at jen.mcdonald@uipath.com.”

McDonald is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in business/marketing. She is a guest lecturer at the University of San Diego, where she also serves as a mentor for students interested in careers in sales.

“I love to connect with people and help them become their best self,” her profile says. “I mentor many sales professionals to find their strengths and excel in their sales career. I am a certified yoga teacher, and I am happiest when we have a trip planned on the calendar.”
