Veteran IT sales executive Clint Buytenhuys has been promoted by Unqork to regional vice president of the company’s Public Sector sales organization.

Buytenhuys joined the company five months ago as West regional sales director for Public Sector.

“While I have been onboard since September, the promotion is a new one,” Buytenhuys told Techwire. “It has been an incredibly exciting time for Unqork and an amazing experience for me personally since coming onboard.”

Unqork helps business and government enterprises simplify the application development process with a platform that it touts as simple, integrated and easy to use. The company offers solutions in the areas of insurance, financial services, government and health care.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity, working closely with Unqork’s head of Public Enterprise, Cas Holloway, to help lead the expansion of Unqork’s state and local government business across the country,” Buytenhuys said. “Unqork’s recent success delivering a turnkey solution to help state and local agencies manage the newly available $25 billion in federal aid for rental housing assistance is a testament to our ability to help governments innovate in addressing regulatory workloads and conducting complex case management, all without writing a single line of code.”

The Granite Bay resident entered the tech sector in 1996 and has been affiliated with, among others, BMC Software, IBM and Pegasystems. His academic background includes the University of Phoenix and Georgetown University. Buytenhuys also has been a volunteer with youth soccer and coaching organizations.
