Scores of government IT leaders and vendors gathered this week in San Diego for the semiannual conference of the California County Information Systems Directors Association (CCISDA).
The conference is a venue for chief information officers, data officers, technology officers and privacy officers to meet informally with representatives of the private sector, from whom the counties procure their IT goods and services and telecom. Through numerous breakout sessions, panel discussions and workshops, the public and private sectors this week discussed cybersecurity, cloud migration, disaster recovery and business continuity, and a host of other topics.
