Byrnes joined World Wide Technology this month, having most recently been affiliated with Nutanix. His previous affiliations include Fortinet, Tanium and FireEye.
In his new role, he will lead the SLED West organization outside of California. He said he joined WWT because he’s “passionate about coaching and building teams” and was drawn to the company’s culture and its focus on the SLED tech solutions it’s bringing to market as a systems integrator.
Byrnes, a graduate of Oral Roberts University, has “vertical expertise in Enterprise, Commercial, Federal, State, Local Government, Healthcare and K12 Education,” according to his LinkedIn profile. His background includes experience with “unified communications, collaboration, video, cloud applications, network and endpoint security, advanced threat/malware protection and development of public and private cloud.”
