Santini has been elevated from his previous role as enterprise account executive. This is his second promotion with Yubico; he joined the company as a mid-market account executive in 2018 and was promoted to the enterprise role in January 2021.

“One of the best aspects of working for Yubico has been the peace of mind I feel at the end of each day knowing that our company is providing a product that protects people and organizations in a real and measurable way,” Santini told Techwire.

Jeff Phillips, Yubico’s vice president for public sector, noted Santini’s role in the company’s sales efforts with state and local government and education (SLED).

“Congratulations to Michael Santini for taking on the sales leadership role for all SLED in the West,” Phillips told Techwire. “He is a great asset and leader toward Yubico’s serving the state of California.”

Before joining Yubico, Santini was with MobileIron (now Ivanti), first as a sales development representative, then as a large-enterprise inside sales rep and then as an account executive.

Santini, based in San Jose, is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, where he studied kinesiology, health and physical education and where he was a member of the university football team.
