Strand, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, joined Zscaler this month. He most recently was with Citrix, where he was a strategic-accounts manager specializing in app delivery and security. His previous roles have included sales and management positions with Palo Alto Networks, SGI, Rackable Systems and VaxGen.
In his new role, Strand told Techwire, “I sell across all verticals and the hottest market segment of mobility and cloud services ¯ creating a solution for direct access to mobile and cloud environments.”

In his off time, Strand is an avid golfer and enjoys doing volunteer work for Raphael House in San Francisco. “We also enjoy the outdoors and cooking,” he said.
Strand received his diploma from Sequoia Technical Institute in climate control and programmable controls, and he also attended Las Positas College. Strand also has professional certifications from, among others, SkillPath, Linux Academy and TechSkills.
