InterVision Launches Cloud Migration Lifecycle Assurance Program

InterVision has cultivated the Cloud Migration Lifecycle Assurance program to address challenges that typically hinder cloud adoption.

The Challenge of Migrating to the Cloud
Most organizations have adopted a cloud-first strategy, but many find that lack of cloud expertise, security concerns and operational challenges are delaying their cloud adoption process. The reality of a largely hybrid world is that legacy infrastructure remains foundational to ongoing operations and running efficiently in the cloud requires a different skillset than on-premise datacenter.

An effective cloud strategy includes not only a clear and detailed understanding of the migration process, but a roadmap of how to operate efficiently and securely in the cloud after applications are migrated. Change management, cost optimization, operations and security requirements of cloud adoption will often expose skills gaps within the IT team.

Introducing CMLA: A More Comprehensive Process for Migration

With over 25 years supporting clients in their datacenters and over a decade of cloud experience, InterVision has recognized the challenges companies are facing in cloud adoption. We know that it’s hard to translate time-earned datacenter expertise into cloud expertise overnight. We’ve cultivated a truly balanced and unique perspective of how to best migrate to the cloud, which we’ve combined into a single proven process: the Cloud Migration Lifecycle Assurance (CMLA) program.

CMLA has two primary objectives:

  • Fast and effective migration completion
  • Efficient and reliable ongoing operations
To achieve these objectives, CMLA takes your current migration project progress and aligns it with ongoing operational needs to seamlessly complete your cloud journey. Whether you have already migrated some applications to the cloud, or are just starting, CMLA accommodates all stages of progress. It looks at the full lifecycle of cloud operations, not just the stages of migration necessary to get operations running in the cloud. This includes compliance and security requirements, performance and computing, automation and cost optimization.

Benefits of CMLA

InterVision’s CMLA process is the foundation for our approach to the cloud and ensuring our clients successfully achieve their cloud goals. It can do the following for you:

  • Accelerate migration and avoid stalls with a proven and tested process
  • Harden operations and close cloud skill gaps with support from certified Amazon Web Services (AWS) experts
  • Optimize investments and mitigate unnecessary spend with matured cost optimization and automation
Depending on your goals and your desired operational outcome, CMLA can be delivered within three tiers of service: self-managed, co-managed and fully managed.
