Sacramento Business Journal released the “Fast50” – Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies list in the Greater Sacramento Area. Roseville-based Direct Technology was ranked #11.
Senior vice president of HR, Kristen Long, accepted the award, commenting, “13 years ago we were 24 people, and now our payroll is over 700. Being one of the #SacFast50 realizes the original vision of the company founders: to build a company where people could grow their careers and earn more responsibility sooner than anywhere else.”
Direct Technology’s revenues nearly doubled last year, even though 2017 revenues were already higher than most of the top 10 Fast50 combined. CEO Dan Konieczny thanked the Business Journal for the recognition of the energy and hard work by his employees to achieve this momentum. “This award is dedicated to our people, who bring in world class clients and deliver quality work that keeps them coming back.”
Indeed, the company is known for its long relationships over its entire company history – something Konieczny attributes to the focus on the human side of technology. People drive technology, not the other way around, so Direct Technology’s high tech solutions are balanced by a high touch approach. Now, the race is on: With more government opportunities and more clients than ever, you can count on Direct Technology’s growing divisions to make a run for next year’s title, too.
