Kovarus, Inc., expands Public Sector presence to the Southern California region to assist state, local & education enterprises with their IT transformation.

Kovarus, Inc., a leading systems integrator that helps companies modernize and automate IT, today announced it is expanding its Public Sector presence to the Southern California region to assist state, local and education enterprises with their IT transformation.

Kovarus recently announced it has been named the recipient of the 2020 Dell Technologies North America Partner of the Year award for achieving outstanding results and demonstrating commitment to Dell Technologies products and customers.

In addition, Kovarus announced last year that it was awarded one of the Dell EMC contracts to provide Enterprise Technology equipment and services to the State of California, including city, county and education agencies which can take advantage of the powerful new contract vehicle to procure end-to-end solutions for their Enterprise Technology needs.

Kovarus is also announcing that Scott Wiele, Public Sector Area VP of Sales for Northern California and Don Michie, Public Sector Regional VP of Solutions for Northern California, will assume responsibility for overseeing all Public Sector sales and pre-sales for Northern and Southern California, respectively. In addition, Kovarus welcomes Tony Chang to the Public Sector team. Tony comes to Kovarus from Dell Technologies where he was the Presales West SLED Director. Tony will be leading Presales for the Southern California SLED practice.

“The Southern California Public Sector region is critical to Kovarus’ future growth plans, so we’re excited to expand our presence and breadth of services offered there,” said Scott Wiele, Public Sector Area VP of Sales at Kovarus. “I’m extremely proud of the strides we have made in Northern California and anticipate the coming years will be even more successful, especially in such a high-growth area like Southern California.”

“Kovarus’ unique solution portfolio enables its Public Sector customers to maximize operational efficiencies with reduced cost and complexity,” said Don Michie, Public Sector Regional VP of Solutions at Kovarus. “I plan to capitalize on the industry’s momentum around Application Delivery, Cloud Automation and Infrastructure Optimization by providing Public Sector customers the freedom to choose the right solutions to meet their unique requirements.”

By leveraging the Kovarus Solutions Portfolio and deep engineering expertise, Kovarus is able to deliver modern, practical solutions. To do this, we created the Kovarus Proven Solutions Center (KPSC) to let customers see what’s possible and learn how we can help businesses succeed. The KPSC is also extended as a resource for our customers to get hands-on experience with new products and to make sound solution selection decisions.
