In a recent Virtual Summit, "Creating Tomorrow’s Agile Government, Today" hosted by Government Technology and CA Technologies, Jamie Mangrum shares how Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) framework allows IT leadership and developers within the California Department of State Hospitals to see the relationships between projects and to uncover where conflicts and constraints may arise. To be able to see conflicts and constraints between and within projects involving anything from project team members being overtaxed to inundating a specific facility with multiple projects being deployed at the same time, PPM has helped reduce and or illuminate project risks before they happen. Jamie shares how the Department of State Hospitals is increasing project success including staying on-time for targeted completion dates.
