SimpliGov Names Jimenez VP of Customer Success

Technology veteran Edgar Jimenez has been named vice president for customer success by SimpliGov.

“I’m excited to join such a great organization and be part of improving the government experience through effective workflow automation technology,” Jimenez told Techwire. “I look forward to enhancing citizen and public servant end-user experience.”

The company, which has offices in Sacramento and San Francisco, offers the SimpliGov Automation Platform, which it describes as “a cloud-based, SaaS (software as a service) solution that empowers our local, state and federal organizations to rapidly develop and implement eForm, e-signature and workflow solutions.”

“I am thrilled to welcome Edgar to the SimpliGov team this week,” SimpliGov’s chief executive officer, Gary Leikin, told Techwire. “Edgar brings deep experience in information technology to the role, having built numerous industry-leading customer success teams, which will be invaluable for supporting our growing list of customers nationwide.”

As VP of customer success, Jimenez is responsible for leading the Customer Success team, “ensuring that customers get the most out of Simpligov.com solutions.”

Before joining SimpliGov.com, Jimenez was head of customer success and operations at Gigster.com, a digital transformation services company, where he partnered with SMBs (small and mid-sized businesses) and enterprise companies around the world. He has also held various process consulting, CSM and leadership roles at Gainsight, Workday, Seagate Technologies and Accenture.

Jimenez, who lives in the Bay Area, has a bachelor of arts degree in Latin American literature from UC Berkeley and a bachelor of science degree in business administration, management and operations, also from UC Berkeley. He’s also an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program, with a focus on entrepreneurship and leadership.
